Tonkatsu sandwich

Hey guys welcome back to another blog post! Today we are going to make a tonkatsu sandwich. It is crispy and crunchy. Let’s get to the recipe.

the ingredients you will need are: pork rib chops, salt, white pepper, all purpose flour, one egg, panko, vegetable oil, shokupan Japanese bread, cabbage, katsu sauce, and butter.

step one: toast your bread with some butter on your pan.

step two: prep you meat, take out the bone out of the meat if you bought the meat with bone in. Take you all purpose flour, salt, and white pepper. Put in 1/4 cup of all purpose flour and 1 tables spoon of white pepper and salt in a bowl. Mix it up with a whisk.

step three: beat you egg lightly in a separate bowl and put in panko breadcrumbs in a separate bowl as well. So now you have three bowls for you tonkatsu.

step four: Coat your pork chop with egg, then flour, and do that again twice, then coat it with your panko.

step five: shred and wash you cabbage. Heat your oil to 375 degrees and let you pork chop cook for 10 minutes or until crispy.

step six: place your cabbage on the bottom piece of the bread. Then place your tonkatsu, and finally drizzle you sauce ont top and place you bread on top.

step seven: cut your crust off and your ready to eat!
