Hi guys welcome back to another one of my blogs. Today we are going to make pajeon or savory green onion Korean pancakes.

The ingredients you will need are: 8 scallions, 1 carrot, 1 cup all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 9 ounces cold sparkling water, 1 egg, lightly beaten , large garlic glove, peeled and grated, 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

step 1: wash your green onions and carrots, and then start making your batter. Put in 1 cup of all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt, 1 beaten egg, and 9 ounces of cold sparkling water mixed into a wet batter.

step two: shred you carrots, cut your green onion, and then put all of them in the batter.

step three: heat your pan with three tablespoons of oil. Then get a scoop and start cooking your pancakes. Let them cook for 3 1/2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

step four: let them cool on a paper towel when done and get some soy sauce out for a dipping sauce.

step five: dip you pancakes in some of the soy sauce and take a bite!
